The Reason She Desided To Remain A Virgin

Version 1: She thought her place was with the hearth

Version 2: ( quote from " Women in Greek Myths ) "Once, Apollo and Poseidon came forward as rivals looking for her hand. Now, that had the potential to turn into something pretty ugly, and Hestia knew it. So she turned to Zeus and said that she would remain a virgin forever. Zeus understood her actions and was very grateful, so greatful that he awarded her the first victim of every public sacrifice for keeping the peace on Olympus."

She was the oldest Goddess and she gave up her spot to Baccus ( the youngest god). She had no throne, only a fire in the center of Olimpus.

She is commonly thought of as a kind, gential goddess
